Our projects are born from our experiences and our commitment to recognising and valuing the talent of women from migrant backgrounds, which has historically been overlooked. Through social innovation, we promote processes that inspire and empower women in Barcelona, focusing on their stories, knowledge and contributions in different areas.
Seeds of Transformation
Educación transformadora desde la tierra y la memoria.
Rebel Seeds
The framework of action: what moves, is practised, and is transformed today. We drive a transformative education project where migrant knowledge, living memory, and the cultivation of the land interweave. We reclaim botanical and ancestral knowledge carried in our memory and in our hands, placing it at the centre as a tool for rootedness, care, and collective transformation. We learn and heal through what is everyday and what is shared.
Heirs of Change
Living memories and stories of migrant women.
Heirs of Change
The memory framework: what is remembered, named, and legitimised. We make visible the living legacies of migrant women who inhabit and transform Catalan society. We collect stories, struggles, and contributions and turn them into audiovisual pieces narrated in our own voices. We weave intergenerational gatherings to share memory and knowledge. We create references that position us as protagonists of a shared, collective history.
Seed Keepers
Feminist and community networks that sustain us
The ones who hold it all: those who make everything possible through their knowledge and journeys.
We are creating a network of gardens that brings us together to cultivate food, memory, and community. Through agroecology and feminism, we share knowledge in co-created workshops, build an intercultural seed bank, and develop a pedagogical guide shaped from our own perspectives. We reclaim migrant knowledge as a political and ecological tool. We inhabit urban space with collective and dignified presence, strengthening food sovereignty.
Terralba (Feminist Garden)
The place where all of this comes together, is cared for, and becomes tangible.
Terralba (Feminist Garden)
In alliance with Sindillar, we self-manage Terralba (the garden) as an ecofeminist healing space for migrant and racialised women. Through our connection with the land, ancestral knowledge, and embodied memory, we care for and strengthen one another. We share workshops, talking circles, and collective journals to transform lived experiences into collective strength. We reclaim the right to heal together and to inhabit our bodies and territories with dignity. Learn more
